ARTIST STATEMENT

Ronald's design philosophy begins with an emphasis on communication with a nod to contextual drama. He believes all design work exists to deliver a message to a viewer, otherwise it is simply abstract art and should be categorized as such. He interprets contextual drama to mean the tension between opposites as they compose the page. With these two concepts as a foundation, Ronald begins to emphasis the requisite message with a subtle give and take with the whitespace of the page.
